Expeditions: Is a Change in Focus
What should have been the simplest aspect of my mission—traversing from point A to point B to commence the search for resources with the large metal scanner mounted on my truck—turned into a debacle within minutes. My vehicle was flipped, its engine severely damaged, and I found myself resorting to every expletive known to me. Such is the essence of off-roading.
The MudRunner series, with Expeditions being an exploration-centric extension, emphasizes the journey as much as the destination. Each mission may present its unique obstacles, yet navigating through rough, waterlogged, and muddy landscapes often poses the most significant challenge. This is highlighted by my considerable time spent overturned, trapped in rivers, or sinking into marshes.
