Expeditions: Announced at Gamescom Opening
During the gamescom Opening Night Live event, Saber Interactive, the team behind SnowRunner, unveiled their latest project: Expeditions: A MudRunner Game, a new driving simulator that celebrates the thrill of off-roading.
In Expeditions: A MudRunner Game, players will lead research expeditions into the wilderness, facing and overcoming the challenges posed by nature, all while navigating a variety of all-terrain vehicles.
The game not only features vehicles equipped with four-wheel drive for tough terrains but also introduces tools like drones for aerial views to spot essential equipment and metal detectors among other gadgets, enhancing the exploration experience.
John Bert, Managing Director at Focus Entertainment, expressed enthusiasm about continuing the collaboration with Saber Interactive, with whom they have previously developed MudRunner and SnowRunner. In a press release post-gamescom announcement, Bert shared excitement about presenting this new installment of the acclaimed franchise to gamers, highlighting the combined expertise and hard work of Saber’s team and Focus Entertainment’s knack for turning it into a critically acclaimed success.
Expeditions: A MudRunner Game is set to launch on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in the upcoming year.
